It’s so interesting that the scene of Lestat catching Claudia on the boat might be fictional! Or at least not the same as what we were shown, because that scene was what finally convinced me that Claudia was right, she and Louis had no choice but to kill Lestat. It changed so much of my perception of that story. And yeah, that part of the narration was very suspicious. Not only was there no diary, Daniel was asleep at the end of it so we didn’t get him picking holes in it either. I’m not even sure if he will. I wonder who faked that story. If it’s not addressed in s2, Claudia seemed more probable than Armand. (I can’t believe I once thought Armand and Louis was a healthier couple even though there was less sparks… )
About Louis in San Francisco, at first I thought yeah I’m with Michael that laugh was kind of scary knowing who he was, but I just rewatched that scene and I think he’s so cute with Daniel 😂 I don’t know if I just wasn’t watching as carefully, or if 2×05 (and beyond) made me fall in love with Daniel & Louis relationship so now I can only see cuteness in them 🥺

Oh yeah, completely agree, I love their friendship!! Louis & Daniel: BEST BEST FRIENDS!! 🥰
But then when I took a step back from that, for podcasting purposes, the laugh just kinda freaked me out lol
But in general, they’re totally OTP, if the P stands for Platonic!! haha
