I’m just going to leave this here. These are my thoughts on the whole SH series.
First off, I’m not sure how I feel about being called insane on a podcast, no matter how lovingly… 😨😄
My best bits…
– The Malec scene when Magnus is in Valentines body and he tries to convince Alec about who he really is. That was so well done and I really felt for Magnus.
– The Raphael/Rosa scene, that always makes me cry.
– Simon telling his mother that her son is dead, so emotional
– Owl!Jace throwing Clary off the roof 😁
– 17 😊 1700 😮 17000 😦, poor Alec
– Basically all the parabatai/siblings scenes, we didn’t get enough of those.
– The Malec wedding, nuff said.
– The fact that I couldn’t stand Clary in s1 and by the end of the series, I loved her. Great character development. 👍
– Clary killing Valentine, I loved him!
– Zombie!Valentine! Who knew I could love him even in death? He was gone too soon.
– To whom.. 😄😄😄
– All of Magnus’ outfits… The man has so much style.
It’s so hard to pick…
The most cringiest scene of the whole series:
“No, it isn’t true, the demon deceived me!” 🤦♀️I love Alec but that line always makes me cringe. I find it so hard to watch. The whole thing just sounds so weird.
Male MVP: I’ve got to go with Alec. I love his journey from repressed soldier to self confident, proud openly gay leader. He’s come so far. He makes mistakes and works on himself and tries to be the best version of himself that he can be. Just to see how happy and confident he is at the end of the series is wonderful. He is an amazing brother/son, boyfriend and leader. I can understand why so many people find him to be an inspiration.
Female MVP: Maryse. I love her whole redemption arc. When you see where she started off to where she ended up… She transformed herself. She was able to look at herself, acknowledge her faults and work on improving herself and becoming a better person. I love her relationship with her children, the way she supports all of them. I love her acceptance of Magnus and how she thinks of him as one of the family. She is awesome.
I don’t know if I have a favourite season. Each season had great bits in it.
The best moment overall is really the entire Malec relationship. I love going back to see where and how it all began, the ups and downs. How they really are meant for each other. They have the ability to make me laugh and cry. I’m way too invested in their relationship. 😁 I just love them!
Best episode? Pfff…. I don’t know, there are so many good ones. I have a soft spot for The powers that be. Just because it’s so different and funny. It always makes me laugh.
Most epic series moment:
FLYING!ALEC His heroic flight shall be forever seared into my brain. Who else would have been able to defeat Azazel with one shot? FLYING!ALEC deserves all the awards! 🏆🥇
I’m sure there’s lots more and I will kick myself when I hear everyone else’s comments but it’s midnight, it’s been a long day and I can’t think straight any more..
