I also start watching this show only because you guys made a mini series of it <3
So many British actors in this American story 😂 Amazing. Was it just coincidence or was it because British actors were better at accents 😂
It’s fascinating that vampires may be stuck in the mindset/brain chemistry at the point of their death/transformation! I haven’t thought about it before but it makes so much sense. So that’s why Louis is always in his self-loathing/suicidal mindset… poor thing.
I like the theory that Armand thinks Louis was talking about Lestat to all the boys. Louis might have actually done that too! That makes me wonder whether jealousy contributed to Armand prying Louis away from Daniel, in part. Obviously Louis was almost killing Daniel, but drinking blood was also an intimate act for vampires, so maybe Armand just couldn’t tolerate seeing that a second longer? I also think maybe he’s just really tired of cleaning the blood and body 😂 since he’s arrived there he’s not gonna let Louis enjoy any longer.
Louis and Daniel is officially my favourite relationship now <33 They’re so healthy and so platonic <33 I still screamed when Lestat and Louis got back together but platonic partnership has a special place in my heart~~ Love how they laugh together when Louis confirmed that did not have sex XD and how baby Daniel asked to see the fangs again. Babies!
Do you think the feet in the sand thing has more implications than a technic to focus? I’m just wondering when did Louis start doing that, and what did he do that for. I remember he did that in 1×7 where the real memory of Lestat’s death surfaced. I feel like he’s done that more than once but I can’t remember when… Maybe it’s not the first time he got this kind of small breakthrough, and that’s why he decided to do this interview?
Daniel’s life being the testament of Louis and Armand’s relationship is interesting… At the end of the season it’s broken, so Armand didn’t have reason to not kill Daniel anymore. Louis did tell him again not to do that though. Depends on whether making Daniel a vampire counts as killing him I guess… I think it does. Still don’t get why Armand would want to transform him… did he want to try to create something like Lestat and Louis? After 500 years finally he tried to make changes? That could be interesting.
Love this episode so much and love that you spent a whole episode to pick it apart~~

we are definitely gonna be talking about WHY DOES ARMAND MAKE DANIEL A VAMPIRE?!? tomorrow, because here, right now, after a very long and very exhausting day… I’ve got absolutely nothing hahaha
